FRA offers expert testimony and valuation of structured securities, credit derivatives, portfolios and firms for criminal, civil, tax and bankruptcy proceedings.  FRA is capable of utilizing multiple credit portfolio valuation systems, including in-house models to value full balance sheets or selected portfolios of complex securities for its clients.

Representative engagements undertaken by FRA and its affiliates

• Provided expert report and testimony on the management of a structured credit transaction 

• Provided an independent valuation of option transactions that were the subject of litigation

• Engaged to reconstitute a trade blotter that was the subject of litigation

• In a tax case--provided an independent valuation supporting the characterization of a loss on a derivative as an ordinary loss rather than a capital loss
